British Gas today announced a record breaking price increase of 35% on gas and 9% on electricity. The price increase affects all of British Gas's standard, as well as Green energy prices with immediate effect. Click Energy 5 has not been affected by this announcement. British Gas is also removing its Fixed Price 2009 tariff, which will be replaced with a costlier Fixed Price 2011 product.
